The 5 Things I Noticed Using The No-Brainer Set from The Ordinary

The 5 Things I Noticed After Using The Ordinary No Brainer Set!
I don't want to oversell it but I've never encountered a more perfectly named skincare set.
The ordinary has quickly created a reputation for creating highly effective and extremely affordable products. The only difficulty is making sense of all the different names of the products and what each one is best for. That's why the first thing I tried was the No-Brainer Set since I knew that they were designed to go together.
Let me start by describing my current skin situation. For most of my life, I enjoyed pretty great skin. It was actually one of my favourite physical features. I know that sounds a little weird but growing up there wasn't much that I liked about the way that I looked but while all my friends constantly seemed to be struggling with outbreaks it was never much of an issue for me.
I didn't have a fancy skincare routine and most days I skipped at least one step. When I moved to a desert climate I finally took moisturiser seriously but overall I was pretty relaxed with my routine.

That all changed about a year ago. Shortly after I moved home I started noticing a huge about of splotches and started to show up around my cheeks and I began to consistently have pimples in between my eyebrows and on my forehead. I started to feel like I had to wear makeup all the time.
The bags under my eyes since that had remained the same more or less throughout college got significantly darker ( even though I was getting about the same amount of sleep.
For as long as I can remember I’d had slight bags under my eyes ( regardless of how much rest I got) but recently they became much more pronounced.
Possibly most upsetting, the ache I was now getting was leaving scars, something the infrequency pimple I used to get before never did.
I know they're many factors that play into the appearance of the skin on your face but even considering all of those, I 100% sure that this no brainer set from The Ordinary made a huge difference. I saw improvement in the texture, tone and overall brightness of my skin.
I've recently finished using my first no brainer set. ( The Buffet and the moisturizer are completely gone and I still have some of the retinoids since that's only used at night ) And I have to say in the two weeks since I've run out of the Buffett I've noticed that my skin is already sliding back to its old way. The supply lasts about one month and I would say there were visible changes within a week.
As I write this I had to cover up two pimples with this morning back in their old spot, between my eyebrows.
I don't know how effective this set will be if you have serious acne problems that cover most of your face, but for me, they were able to take care of really annoying recurring pimples in my problem zone and get rid of the hideous scars.
The main things I Noticed Using These Products
1. my skin was brighter and glowing
2. I stopped getting pimples
3. the scars left by old pimples faded
4. my skin felt smoother and softer ( not quiet the Korean glass skin but as close as I've experienced in recent years)
5. The tone of my skin evened out and the splotchiness was significantly reduced ( but some days it was still a little visible)
If anything I've mentioned sounds like a problem you'd like to work on that I would highly recommend this product. Read more about each of them below
FYI. If you have sensitive skin you should patch test and read all the ingredients to make sure that these products are safe for you before using regularly.
The No Brainer set consist of The Buffet, Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion
And Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA
1.Buffet

The product focuses on the signs of aging using a "buffet" of cutting edge technologies. It's for use both in the morning and evenings.
2. Granactive retinoid 2% emulsion

This product is just to be used in the evening and among other things, is used to fight the signs of aging. P.S. make sure you’re using lots of sun protector when you are using this or any other retinoid or retinol product and be it lightly if you’re especially prone to ache.
3. Natural Moisturizing factors * HA

NMF are made up of multiple amino acids, fatty acids, triglycerides, urea, ceramides, phospholipids, glycerin, saccharides, sodium PCA, hyaluronic acid and many other compounds that are naturally present in the skin.

P.s. this post is in no way sponsored, I bought the set myself and i’ve had no contact with the company at all. Just sharing my actual experience with you all! This set is super affordable so I thought I would be good to share!
