The Best Indian/ Thai food on the island!

Updated: Feb 8, 2021

If you're craving authentic Indian or Thai food then this is probably the place for you.

I've eaten at Apsara twice now and I have to say it's already becoming one of my favourite spots. Aside from the food, The whole restaurant is impeccably decorated and the location really can't be beaten.

One great this about dining options in Barbados is that they're lots of places you can dine overlooking the ocean and Apsara is one of the best.

Assuming that there is good weather, this open-air set up is perfect for a romantic dinner or a fun group hang with friends. If it's raining, their indoor dining is also beautifully appointed but get the full experience I would suggest the terrace area.

As I mentioned, the food is amazing! ( make sure to try out the garlic nan) and each time I've been taken a box home because the food is so filling! If you're looking at a non- alcoholic drink make sure to order the fruit punch.

The menu items are generally reasonably priced so I'd budget between 100 and $150 ( Barbadian dollars) depending on if you get appetizers or drinks.

Also, I would suggest trying to set your reservation for around sunset ( which obviously differs depending on the time of year. ) Because these will definitely lead to the best photos.

final thoughts: If you're trying to impress on a first date this is definitely one to remember!
